Following two full days of poker and three starting flights, Day 2 has finally arrived. It is the first time that players will combine into one field and all the action is due to kick off at 2 pm local time, here at Casino Spielbank Berlin.

In total, entries generated a very healthy €683,947 prize pool. Of that, €130,000 is the prize for first place. 79 players will be paid and the mincash is €2,050.

Of the 218 survivors, Luc Glodt (253,000) starts in pole position, closely followed by Julian Selinger (250,000) in second. Nebojsa Musulin (221,500), Stefan Schulze (214,000) and Kai Vater (211,500) also built stacks worthy of the top five.

There are some big names still in the running, with Michal Mrakes (175,500), Artur Wasek (60,000), Paul van Oort (49,500), Marcin Chmielewski (46500) and Emil Bise (13,500) all making it through from Day 1c last night.

They join Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz (168,000), Eyal Bensimhon (163,000), David Hu (152,000), Thomas Traboulsi (97,500) Gaelle Baumann (84,000), Firoz Mangroe (70,500), Johannes Toebbe (60,000), Wojciech Wyrebski, ,(44,000), Georgios Vrakas (35,000), Frederik Jensen (31,500) and Rasmus Larsen (24,000) who each bagged in one of the first two flights.

There are some WPTDS Champions still in contention too, each seeking their second WPTDS title. They are Felix Schulze (158,500) defending champion Thomas Hofmann (146,000), Sandro Pitzanti (43,000) and WPT Champion’s Club member Van Nguyen (21,000).

Today, there are 10 one-hour levels on the schedule and there will be a break every two hours, at the end of every second level. A one-hour dinner break will take place at the end of Level 22 and play will finish at approximately 2 am tonight.
