The 2021 World Poker Tour Online Series in cooperation with partypoker is in full swing. Nearly four dozen tournaments have already determined a champion and the next winner to be crowned will follow in the WPT500 Knockout Event.
After the completion of all starting days which played down to 15% each and locked up a min-cash for all survivors, a total field of 2,054 entries emerged. The guaranteed prize pool of $2 million was surpassed and the top 307 finishers locked up a cash prize of $538.
On top of that, all contenders also earned further prizes for knocking out opponents along the way. The cash portion represents $514,125 in total whereas $512,875 in bounty prizes will have been awarded when the tournament has been completed.
After six hours and 45 minutes on Day 2, the nine-handed final table was set and that sent all remaining hopefuls on a break. They will return to their virtual seats at 9.05 pm CEST and play down to a champion.
