Only nine players out of a field 2,295 entries remain in Event #03 WPT500, which surpassed the $1 million guarantee. All Day 1 survivors returned to their seats on Monday, August 30 and 342 hopefuls were whittled down to the last nine contenders.
It is the latest highlight tournament of the S19 World Poker Tour World Online Championships (WOC) and will play down to a winner as of 8.05 pm BST on the global partypoker platform.
Pedro Cavalieri leads the pack with 82 blinds and he is narrowly ahead of fellow Brazilian Bernardo Soares, who has 80 big blinds at his disposal. The well-known Bulgarian poker pros Ognyan Dimov and Stoyan Obreshkov are also in the mix, along with Portugal’s Silvio Costa and Stevan Chew.

All finalists have $13,212 locked up for their efforts but the winner takes home by far more, as a top prize of $173,395 awaits. The level duration on the final table has increased from 16 to 24 minutes and the action is slated to resume at blinds of 1.5M/3M with an ante of 375k.
The final table action will be live-streamed on the partypoker YouTube and Twitch channel with cards-up coverage and commentary on a security delay of 30 minutes.
