"What a Value Bet" by Madhani

Mike Gracz raises to 36,000 in the hijack, Farhan Madhani three-bets to 80,000 on the button, and Gracz calls to take a flop.

It comes [Qs5s4d], and Gracz check-calls 70,000 from Madhani. Both players check the [Kh] turn. The [6h] lands on the river, and Gracz checks for a third time. Madhani flicks out a bet of 120,000, sending Gracz for a little soak in the tank.

Eventually, Gracz calls, and Madhani tables [JsJc]. It’s good.

"Wow," Gracz begins the compliment. "What a value bet." He looks back at his cards one last time, sees they’re still second-best, then mucks and pays the bet, dropping back to about 845,000.

Madhani has moved up to 1.375 million.
