Achile Voltolini and Mbarek Saadi wouldn’t mind if we called them the elder statesman of this competition. Voltolini is sat on a stack of 90,000 and Saadi has 70,000. They just found themselves embroiled in a hand where they just couldn’t bear to inflict any pain on each other, so instead they just blindly checked it down. This included Mbarek checking the nuts on the river after making a straight! Guiilaume Darcourt – who is seated to the left of Voltolini – nearly wet himself laughing.
