Barry Hutter opens with a raise to 33,000 in middle position. Around in the small blind, Jeff Williams has the dealer count the raise, then makes a re-raise of his own. It’s 78,000 total, and it draws a four-bet shove from Hutter. Williams snaps it off, and the two men are flipping for the pot of close to a million chips.
Williams: [AdKc]
Hutter: [6d6s]
The [Kh3h9h] flop is a good start for Williams, pulling him into a big lead with two to come. The [5h] turn puts a flush draw on board, but the river [8d] secures Williams’ double.
The two men trade places, and now it’s Williams with close to a million chips. Hutter must have eaten something off for dinner, becuse he’s been in freefall since play resumed. That loss slips him back under the half-million chip mark.
Jeff Williams – 928,000
Barry Hutter – 480,000
