With the first three events in the history books, Team Taiwan SAR has taken the lead with 140 points, closely followed by Team China with 138 points.

Event #4 (Six-Max No-Limit Hold’em) will play four 14-player shootouts, with each one playing down to a winner tonight.

Once Event #4 is complete, the bottom two teams on the leaderboard will be eliminated from contention, while the final 12 teams will return tomorrow (Friday) at 1200 KST to play Event #5, the last chance to earn team points.

Whichever team has the most points after the first five events will receive KRW 13,737,640 (approx. US$12,250).

The top nine teams on that final points leaderboard will advance to the WPT Global Teams Final, a single-table tag-team event where each team will start with chips based on the points they accumulated during the first five events (1,000 in chips per point).

The final three teams in the WPT Global Teams Final will finish in the money, and here is the prizepool at stake in the WPT Global Teams Final:

1st:  KRW 27,475,000 (approx. US $24,500)
2nd:  KRW 16,485,000 (approx. US $14,700)
3rd:  KRW 10,990,000 (approx. US $9,800)
