WPT Korea Championship Event Day 1A Draws 120 Entries

November 16, 2024, marked the beginning of the highly anticipated WPT Korea Main Event Day 1A and the conclusion of the WPT Opener, where the second WPT championship ring of WPT Korea was awarded.

As the excitement of the #1 WPT Opener continued, the Main Event field came alive, attracting a stellar lineup of renowned players eager to test their skills.

Day 1A of the Main Event closed registration at the end of Level 8, reaching a total of 120 entries. After 11 levels of intense action, 42 players emerged to advance to the next stage. Leading the charge is China’s Zhiyuan Zhang, who bagged an impressive 376,500 chips to claim the top spot.

Close behind, Xixiang Luo secured the second-largest stack with 294,000 chips, while Jianglong Zheng rounded out the top three with 292,000. The stage is set for more thrilling action as WPT Korea at Jeju Poker Festival 2024 continues to unfold!
