Ryan Smith (pictured) has cashed a total of seven times at WPTDeepStacks events. His very first cash on the tour was also his largest. He won the Edmonton Main Event during Season 1 and scored $79,782 in prize money. He also cashed in 44th place at the San Diego Main Event later that season to capture the inaugural WPTDeepStacks Player of the Year award.

Smith has found the bulk of his success on the tour up in Canada. The Saskatoon resident has cashed five times in the Great White North, with a pair of cashes in Calgary and three in Edmonton (two final-table appearances).
