WPTDS Brussels Winner Laurent Polito Down But Not Out

WPTDeepStacks Brussels winner Laurent Polito lost with ace-king against the jacks of Pierre Antona early on to be left with just 5,000 in chips.

A little while later he was all-in preflop in a pot involving two other players: Serafim Kovalevskiy and Didier Aucremanne. Kovalevskiy bet 5,600 on the Club 10Club 4Club 2 flop and Aucremanne called.

The turn was the Spade 5 and Kovalevskiy bet 15,500 and Aucremanne called. The river was the Club 3 and both players checked. All cards were turned over.

Aucremanne showed Heart JDiamond 10 for top pair but tapped the table with his knuckles as the side pot was awarded to Kovalevskiy who showed Heart QDiamond Q. Polito then turned over Diamond ASpade K for a rivered wheel and took down the main pot, tripling up to just under 20,000.
