Yann Dion Eliminated; Pieter de Korver Hits a Century

Yann Dion has been eliminated. The combination of Pieter de Korver and Rob Yong ended his tournament. De Korver did most of the hard work, with Yong finishing the job.

It was a three bet pot with de Korver the aggressor. The flop was Qx 5x 4x, Dion checked, de Korver bet 1,400, Dion check-raised to 4,100, and de Korver called. Both players checked at the sight of the 5x on the turn. The river card was the 8x, Dion led for 11,500, de Korver tanked before raising to 30,000, and Dion called.

De Koever showed pocket queens for the boat, and Dion mucked his hand, exposing the lone 7x. That hand left Dion with 2,000, and Yong took him out in the next hand.
