Yuriy Boyko Takes From Johannes Toebbe

The second barrel of Johannes Toebbe on Day 1b doesn’t appear to be any more fortunate than the first attempt and the German has once again been cut down to a short stack of just 7,700.

Toebbe in late position and Yuriy Boyko in the small blind both invested 10,000 each preflop, forcing out other players with their raising war, and the flop fell . Boyko checked, as did Toebbe, and there was no betting action on the turn either.

Boyko bet the river for 10,000 and Toebbe verified the betting amount before tossing in the call. Boyko turned over and that won the pot for the Irishman, who bumped his stack to 66,000.
