Zu Zhou Doubles Through Khuong Le; Wonseok Heo Eliminated by Sam Basilious

With 39 players remaining and 38 moving on to Day 2, there are a string of big hands including Zu Zhou moving all in for 143,000 against Khuong Le. While there is chaos elsewhere, Le takes his time and calls to put Zhou at risk. Le is ahead with  against  but Zhou finds a flush save as the board runs .

On another table, Wonseok Heo is all in with  against Sam Basilious’s  but can’t catch his over card to exit the tournament in 39th place.

The remaining 38 players will bag up their chips for a return tomorrow at 1 p.m. to play down to the final table. For his part, this is the fourth cash of the tournament for Zu Zhou and his second time advancing to Day 2. His previous bag was 38,000 so he will play this one tomorrow.
